1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing this website or by signing a Cabinets for Living design proposal, custom bid form, or engineering agreement, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms apply unilaterally to all design inquiries, material orders, cabinetry fabrication processes, local freight distributions, and installer alignments across the State of Texas.
2. Custom Design, 3D CAD Mockups, & Engineering Sign-Offs
For custom cabinetry projects, we provide exact layout mockups, 3D computer-aided design (CAD) blueprints, and precision millwork drawings based on actual physical on-site measurements. It is the client's responsibility (and their associated custom builder or architect) to carefully inspect, verify, and formally sign off on all physical measurements, appliance dimensions, structural clearances, and exact overlay configurations prior to the commencement of any material fabrication at our Texas facilities.
Cabinets for Living is not responsible for errors resulting from inaccurate client-supplied architectural measurements once a signed design sign-off document has been finalized and processed.
3. Materials, Wood Care, & Texas Climate Adaptation
We craft our cabinetry boxes, frameless structural layers, drawer systems, and solid hardwood faces using top-tier timber grades and premium engineered cores. Natural timber exhibits biological characteristics including color variation, distinctive grain formations, and slight standard mineral patterns which are markers of authentic luxury craftsmanship.
Texas Climate Condition Notice: Wood is hygroscopic and expands or contracts with changes in surrounding humidity. To minimize warping, expansion, or contraction, the client must maintain active indoor climate control with humidity levels kept between 35% and 55% at all times post-delivery. Cabinets for Living builds using moisture-resistant polyurethane edge banding and high-density cores suited to the unique Texas climate, but natural movement of real timber under prolonged exposure to uncontrolled regional weather factors is excluded from physical product warranties.
4. Manufacturing Pipelines & Lead Times
Cabinet manufacture requires highly sequenced CNC milling, edge banding, hand finish layers, and custom assembly. While we supply estimated completion dates, these parameters are subject to raw material transit delays, custom hardware availability, and scheduling variables. Cabinets for Living maintains open tracking coordinates to inform clients immediately in the event of production adjustments.
5. On-Site Installation Standards
When professional factory-installation is contracted:
- The installation site must be thoroughly cleared, structurally sound, weatherproofed, climate-controlled, and clear of secondary trade interference.
- Walls must be plumb, and floors must be level to within standard architectural tolerances to ensure pristine, flush alignment in our modern European-style frameless cabinetry.
- Cabinets for Living specialists will securely scribe, fit, and align individual modules to standard specifications. Plumbing, electrical, and gas appliance terminal hooks must be managed by licensed independent contractors.
6. Intellectual Property & Designs
All custom blueprints, layout illustrations, engineering files, 3D renderings, and proprietary design concepts developed by Cabinets for Living remain our exclusive intellectual property. CAD outputs and structural details provided during consultations must not be shared with exterior cabinetry firms or independent builders without written consent.
7. Governing Law
These Terms and contractual execution sequences are governed solely by the laws of the State of Texas. Any resolution disputes arising from high-end cabinetry designs, custom fabrications, or regional installations will be arbitrated locally in Texas.
